Abstract:

National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) subpart W protects human health and the environment by setting radon emission standards and work practices for operating uranium mill tailings impoundments. EPA published the final rule for NESHAP requirements for radon emissions from operating uranium mill tailings on January 17, 2017.
