Title: Temporary Flight Restrictions in the Proximity of Launch and Reentry Operations
Abstract: This rulemaking would clarify the temporary flight restriction (TFR) provisions for launch, reentry, and amateur rocket operations and make such TFRs applicable to all aircraft, including non-US registered aircraft. The FAA would also revise language that is inconsistent with other TFR provisions and with the commercial space regulations. This action would enhance safety in the affected airspace and would improve the readability of the TFR requirements.
