Title: Changes to Trademark Rules of Practice to Mandate Electronic Filing 
Abstract:

The United States Patent and Trademark Office proposes to amend the Trademark Rules of Practice to further strategic objectives of the Office to increase the end-to-end electronic processing of trademark applications by mandating electronic filing of trademark applications and documents. Certain amendments are being proposed to benefit the public by providing for more efficiency and clarity in the trademark registration process by conforming the rules to current practice and updating cross references.
