Title: DoD Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Program Regulation  
Abstract:

The Department of Defense is finalizing a revision of its DoD-level FOIA regulation to incorporate the provisions of the OPEN Government Act of 2007 and the FOIA Improvement Act of 2016. This part promotes uniformity in the DoD FOIA Program across the entire Department. Upon issuance of this final rule, 13 component FOIA regulations, as well as the second DoD-level regulation at 32 CFR part 285 will be repealed.
