Title: DoD Investigative and Adjudicative Guidance for Issuing the Common Access Card (CAC) 
Abstract:

This part establishes internal policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for the DoD investigative and adjudicative guidance for issuing the Common Access Card (CAC). The CAC serves as the DoD personal identity verification credential.  The Department will repeal this part as it concerns internal policies and procedures. Cost savings have not been identified.  This rule is merged with and will be finalized by RIN 0790-AK00.
