Title: ●Defense Support of Civil Authorities
Abstract:

This part establishes policy and assigns responsibilities for Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA). This part also provided guidance regarding military support of civilian law enforcement agencies and sets forth policy guidance for the execution and oversight of DSCA when requested by civil authorities and approved by the appropriate DoD authority, or as directed by the President, within the United States. Although civil authorities may request support from DoD, this rule neither confers a benefit not otherwise provided for in statute nor imposes a burden on civil authorities. DoD will repeal this part.  No cost savings have been identified.
