Title: Electronic Interim Assistance Reimbursement Program (3762F)
Abstract:

We reimburse States that provide interim assistance to supplemental security income (SSI) applicants under the interim assistance program. We modified the process of how we reimburse those States in 2010 when we began using a new electronic system to process reimbursements to the States. We will revise our regulations about how we administer the interim assistance program for clarity and to reflect the new process that uses the electronic system.
