Title: Passports: Service Passports | |
Abstract:
This rule amends 22 CFR part 51, which establishes the different types of passports issued by the Department of State. Section 51.1 is amended to add a definition for special issuance passports. Amendments to section 51.3 establish a new service passport, which may be approved for certain non-personnel services contractors who travel abroad in support of and pursuant to a contract with the U.S. government, and make corresponding changes regarding official and diplomatic passports. Section 51.4 is amended to establish the validity of the new service passport and clarify the grounds for invalidity of a special issuance passport. |
