Title: Federal Home Loan Bank Affordable Housing Program Amendments
Abstract:

The Federal Home Loan Bank Act (12 U.S.C. 1430(j)) requires each Federal Home Loan Bank to establish an Affordable Housing Program to provide subsidy to members engaged in lending for long-term, low- and moderate-income, owner-occupied and affordable rental housing.  As part of FHFA's program of regularly reviewing its regulations for the purpose of enhancing effectiveness and reducing burden, this proposed rule would amend the existing Affordable Housing Program regulation.
