Abstract:

49 CFR part 801, "Public Availability of Information," implements the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552. The NTSB plans to issue an Interim Final Rule to implement the amendments to the FOIA made by the Open Government Act of 2007, Public Law 110-175, 121 Stat. 2524, December 31, 2007, the Open FOIA Act of 2009, Public Law 111-83, 123 Stat. 2142, October 28, 2009, and the FOIA Improvement Act of 2016, Public Law 114-185, 130 Stat. 538, June 30, 2016.
