Title: Enforcement of State Traffic Laws on DoD Installations in the United States | |
Abstract:
This proposed rule will establish responsibilities and prescribe procedures for enforcing traffic laws on DoD installations in the United States. Violations of State vehicular or pedestrian traffic laws on a DoD installation are subject to the fines and punishment under the criminal or civil law of the State, territory, possession, or district where the DoD installation in which the violation occurred is located. This new rule will consolidate existing DoD rules and guidance to form a single DoD rule governing traffic laws. |
