Title: ●Strengthening Protections for Beneficiaries 
Abstract:

This NPRM would conform our regulations to the requirements of recent legislation, the Strengthening Protections for Social Security Beneficiaries Act of 2017 (Act). Specifically, it would codify current criminal bar policies and exemptions for certain payees (e.g., custodial parents and spouses), and align our other representative payee regulations with the Act.
