Title: Implementing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora; Updates Following the 16th and 17th Meetings of the Conference of the Parties (CoP16 and CoP17)
Abstract:

This rule would revise regulations implementing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) by incorporating provisions related to the results of CoP16 and CoP17. The revised regulations will help us more effectively promote species conservation, fulfill our responsibilities under CITES, and help those affected by CITES to understand how to conduct lawful international trade in wildlife and wildlife products.
