Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Section 4(d) Rule for the Louisiana Pinesnake | |
Abstract:
On April 6, 2018, we published a final rule to list the Louisiana pinesnake as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act (RIN 1018-BB46). When we published the proposed listing rule, we indicated we would consider whether to subsequently propose a rule under section 4(d) of the Act. The species’ range is Texas and Louisiana. This 4(d) rule would impose only those prohibitions that are necessary for the conservation of the species.
