Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Section 4(d) Rule for the Trispot Darter | |
Abstract:
On October 4, 2017, we published a proposed rule to list the trispot darter as a threatened species. At that time, we indicated we would consider whether to subsequently propose a 4(d) rule. We have not yet made a final decision whether to list the trispot darter; however, we have determined that a 4(d) rule for the trispot darter is likely necessary and advisable. This fish species is found in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. As separate rulemaking actions, we are developing a listing determination (RIN 1018-BC16) and a critical habitat designation (RIN 1018-BD40). |
