Title: ●Regular Rate Under the Fair Labor Standards Act 
Abstract:

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, employers must pay covered employees at least one and one half times their regular rate of pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per workweek.  The employee's regular rate of pay is defined under Section 7(e) of the Fair Labor Standards Act.  In this Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, the Department will propose to amend 29 CFR part 778, to clarify, update, and define regular rate requirements under section 7(e)(2) of the Act.
