Title: Changes in Personal Information | |
Abstract:
The Department of State (the Department) is issuing this final rule amending its rules of practice and procedure. This final rule specifies that if an individual changes his or her personal identifier information, which includes, among other things, name, date of birth, place of birth, and sex on a passport, then the information must be changed on all of the individual’s valid passports. Once a new passport is issued with updated information, any previously issued valid passports that contain the former personal identifiers will be cancelled. |
