Title: ●Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR)/Federal Management Regulation (FMR); FPMR Case 2018–101–2; FMR Case 2018–102–7, Supply and Procurement; FPMR Subchapter E Migration to FMR.
Abstract:

The General Services Administration is proposing to migrate the FPMR subchapter E addressing supply and procurement to the FMR.  The FPMR is written using detailed and prescriptive language.  The FMR, by contrast, uses plain language, and uses a question and answer format.  The GSA, by regulatory action in 2000, established the FMR as the successor regulation to the FPMR.  This action is part of the activity which will lead eventually to the removal of all policy from the FPMR. The FPMR is targeted for removal in FY 2020.
