Title: Implementation of the Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act of 1986 
Abstract:

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) will issue regulations to implement the Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act of 1986 (PFCRA), which authorizes NEH to impose, through administrative adjudication, civil penalties and assessments against any person who makes, submits, or presents a false, fictitious, or fraudulent claim or written statement to the agency. The regulation will establish the procedures that NEH will follow in implementing the PFCRA and specify the hearing and appeal rights of persons subject to penalties and assessments under the PFCRA.
