Title: Fitness-For-Duty Drug Testing Program Requirements [NRC-2009-0225] | |
Abstract:
This rule would align 10 CFR part 26 drug testing requirements with the 2008 guidelines issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This rulemaking would strengthen the fitness-for-duty programs at nuclear power plants (and other Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) licensees and applicants) by testing for additional illegal drugs, lowering drug testing cutoffs, and enhancing the effectiveness of reviews conducted by Medical Review Officers. |
