Abstract:
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is proposing to revise its regulations governing adverse actions concerning removal, suspension for more than 14 days, reduction in grade or pay, or furlough for 30 days or less. The proposed rule will update references and language due to statutory changes as well as streamline and clarify procedures and requirements to better support managers in promoting employee accountability. This also supports agencies in implementing their plans to maximize employee performance as required by OMB M-17-22 (April 12, 2017). |
