Title: ●Eligibility of the People's Republic of China to Export Siluriformes Fish and Fish Products to the United States | |
Abstract:
The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is proposing to amend its regulations to add the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to the list of countries eligible to export Siluriformes fish and fish products to the United States (see 9 CFR 557.2). The PRC is not currently listed as eligible, but has expressed a desire to export raw, intact, Siluriformes fish products to the United States. If this proposed rule becomes final, the PRC will be included in the list of foreign countries that are eligible for Siluriformes fish and fish entry into the United States. |
