Title: ●Missing Persons Act | |
Abstract:
This final rule will remove 32 CFR part 718 because it is internal and does not expand on the requirements established in Title 37 U.S. Chapter 10, Payments to Missing Persons (551-559). The rule provides guidance to the Department of Navy entities to ensure effective implementation and compliance with the Missing Persons Act. DoD Instruction 2310.05 (Accounting for Missing Persons Boards of Inquiry) provides internal requirements for the Department of the Defense regarding missing persons and is available online at http://www.esd.whs.mil/Portals/54/Documents/DD/issuances/dodi/231005p.pdf.
