Title: Expediting Contract Closeout (DFARS Case 2017-D042) 
Abstract:

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to permit closeout of contracts without reconciliation of residual amounts not greater than $1,000 remaining under a contract, if the contract is physically complete. This rule is expected to facilitate the timely closeout of contract actions.
