Title: Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) | |
Abstract:
This part establishes policy for the development and implementation, jointly with each State, of procedures for persons to apply to register to vote at recruitment offices of the Armed Forces, pursuant to section 1973gg of title 42, United States Code. This rule dictates that military recruitment offices shall distribute the National Voter Registration Form to each eligible citizen, and provide assistance in completing the form unless the applicant refuses such assistance. The Department will propose to finalize the provisions of the interim final rule, and make administrative edits which will remove content internal to the Department. |
