Title: Allotments for Child and Spousal Support 
Abstract:

This final rule will remove DoD’s regulation that relates to allotments for child and spousal support. The statutorily required child or child and spousal support allotments that cover members of the Military Services on extended active duty are covered in internal policy found in the DoD Financial Management Regulation, Volume 7A, Chapter 41, "Garnishments and Other Involuntary Allotments.” Removal of this part will not change how notification is provided under Volume 7A, Chapter 41.
