View Rule

This part establishes policies and responsibilities for financial institutions that serve DoD personnel on DoD installations worldwide. In addition, the part prescribes consistent arrangements for the provision of services by financial institutions among the DoD components. Furthermore, the part requires that financial institutions operating on DoD installations provide, and are provided, support consistent with the policies stated. The Department’s policies have changed, and the current part requires revision to reflect the revised responsibilities and arrangements. The Department will retain 32 CFR part 230 as the single rule for DoD, pursuant to its revision. The Department will incorporate the content of 32 CFR part 231 into this part and thereafter repeal 32 CFR part 231.
