Abstract:
This NPRM will update the Agency’s regulations at 20 CFR 401. Section 215 of the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act directs us to modify or develop a database to facilitate the verification of certain information with the consumer’s consent and in connection with a credit transaction. The agency is modifying our regulations to clarify that written consent, as required under the Privacy Act, includes electronic consent. |
