Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Section 4(d) Rule for the Yellow Lance | |
Abstract:
We will propose a rule under section 4(d) of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) for the yellow lance to provide the species-specific prohibitions and exceptions that are necessary and advisable for the conservation of the species. This mussel is found in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina and is listed as a threatened species. In addition, designating critical habitat for this species will be addressed in a separate rulemaking action (RIN 1018-BD08). |
