Title: Demonstration Centers for the Training of Dislocated Workers Program
Abstract: The Department will rescind its regulations at 34 CFR 415.1 -- 415.5 (subpart A); 34 CFR 415.20 -- 415.22 (subpart C); and 34 CFR 415.30 (subpart D) relating to the Demonstration Centers for the Training of Dislocated Workers Program. These actions are necessary because these program regulations are outdated and are not authorized under the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006. Subpart B of 34 CFR 415 is currently reserved. The Department will also reserve subparts A, C and D of 34 CFR 415. With these actions we will deregulate and reserve 34 CFR 415.
