Title: Domestic Noise Certification of Supersonic Aircraft | |
Abstract:
This rulemaking would propose updates and additions to the noise certification rules to accommodate noise certification of new civil supersonic aircraft. The current noise regulations are limited in applicability to subsonic aircraft and the Concorde. These regulations must be amended to broaden their applicability, provide definitions, and adopt noise levels and test requirements that would apply to new design supersonic aircraft. |
