Title: Streamlining Annual Rate Publication for VA Educational Benefits 
Abstract:

This document amends Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) regulations to no longer codify the actual monthly rates payable for the following educational assistance programs: Montgomery GI Bill Active Duty (MGIB-AD), Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR), and Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA). Instead, VA will only codify the formulas used to calculate each monthly rate, while still annually publishing the actual monthly rates on VA’s education rate tables website. This process will still provide efficient notification to the public of the changes to monthly rates.
