Title: Enhanced Security for Special Nuclear Material [NRC-2014-0118] | |
Abstract:
This rulemaking would amend the NRC's regulations to revise and enhance fuel cycle and special nuclear material security requirements. It would make generically applicable security requirements imposed in security orders after the events of September 11, 2001. The scope of this rulemaking would affect the physical protection of nuclear plants, fuel cycle facilities, and spent nuclear material. This rule was formerly titled "Physical Protection for Category I, II, and III Special Nuclear Material." |
