Abstract:
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is proposing to revise its regulations governing suitability determinations and actions, and to issue regulation regarding determinations for fitness and credentialing. The proposed rule change will satisfy requirements of Executive Order 13467 as amended, to modernize the Executive Branch-wide governance structure and processes for suitability and fitness for employment and credentialing vetting. The rule will address suitability, fitness and credentialing vetting standards in order to strengthen and ensure a secure, efficient, timely, reciprocal and aligned system for vetting. |
