Title: Corroboration of Secondary Information
Abstract: The Department of Commerce (the Department) intends to seek comments on a proposed rule to amend its regulation pertaining to the corroboration of secondary information when making determinations on the basis of facts available in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings. The amendment would align the Department's regulation with the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended by the Trade Preferences Extension Act of 2015, which states that the Department shall not be required to corroborate any dumping margin or countervailing duty applied in a separate segment of the same proceeding.
