Title: Demonstration Project for Contractors Employing Persons with Disabilities (DFARS Case 2018-D058) 
Abstract:

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement section 888 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019. Section 888 requires the DFARS to be updated to include an instruction on the demonstration project authorized in section 853 of the NDAA for FY 2004 for contractors employing persons with disabilities.  The demonstration project allows DoD to provide additional defense contracting opportunities for both for-profit and nonprofit entities employing persons with disabilities.
