Title: Collecting and Reporting of Foreign Indebtedness Within the Department of Defense
Abstract: This final rule removes DoD's regulation for collecting and reporting foreign indebtedness within the DoD which was codified on March 17, 1978 (43 FR 11196) and never updated. It has been determined that these procedures apply to organizations internal to the Department only. The internal policy is addressed in DoD 7000.14-R, Financial Management Regulation. The removal of 32 CFR part 268 supports a recommendation from the DoD.
