Title: Advance Designation of Representative Payees 
Abstract:

 This NPRM proposes to add to our Code of Federal Regulations information about the advance designation of representative payees as a result of the Strengthening Protections for Social Security Beneficiaries Act of 2018. Specifically, we propose to identify how an individual may advance designate representative payees, including the process by which SSA will consider order of preference in tandem with individuals pre-designated by a beneficiary.
