Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Section 4(d) Rule for the Yellow Lance | |
Abstract:
We will propose a rule under section 4(d) of the Endangered Species Act to provide measures necessary and advisable for the conservation of the yellow lance (Elliptio lanceolata). This mussel is found in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina and is listed as threatened. We will also propose to designate critical habitat for this species in a separate rulemaking action, if prudent and determinable (RIN 1018-BD08). |
