Title: Procedures for Permitting Electricity Transmission Facilities at International Boundaries  
Abstract:

The rulemaking addresses Presidential action to permit the construction, connection, operation, and maintenance of facilities for the transmission of electric energy across international boundaries pursuant to Executive Order No. 10,485, as amended by Executive Order No. 12,038. The proposed procedures are intended to accommodate changes that have occurred in the electric power industry since the rule was last amended.
