Title: Test Procedures for Commercial Air Conditioning and Heating Equipment | |
Abstract:
Consistent with the requirements under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975, as amended, DOE is examining whether to amend the current test procedures in place for certain categories of Commercial Air Conditioning and Heating Equipment found at 10 CFR 431.96. The classes of equipment that would be affected by this effort consist of the following: evaporatively-cooled commercial unitary air conditioners, water-cooled commercial unitary air conditioners, air-cooled commercial unitary air conditioners, computer room air conditioners, dedicated outdoor air systems, and variable refrigerant flow air conditioning and heating equipment. Because of this effort, DOE may propose and adopt new and amended test procedures for this equipment, or issue a determination that no amendments to the current test procedures are required. |
