Title: Emissions Monitoring Provisions In State Implementation Plans Required Under the Nox Sip Call | |
Abstract:
This final rule revised the existing NOX SIP Call regulations to add flexibility for states to amend their State Implementation Plans (SIPs) to allow alternative emissions monitoring approaches in place of 40 CFR part 75 monitoring for certain large industrial boilers and turbines. Ultimately, this flexibility could be made available to approximately 315 units through states’ revisions to their SIPs. The final rule also eliminated obsolete provisions and made non-substantive clarifications to the remaining regulations. |
