Title: Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act -- Implementation of Changes to Small, Rural Public Housing Agency Assessments (FR-6120) | |
Abstract:
This proposed rule would implement the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act, section 38(a)(2)(b), which would establish regulatory definitions for a "Troubled Small Public Housing Agency" which predominantly operates in a rural area. The rule will provide criteria for identifying small PHAs that have been designated trouble for failing to maintain units in a satisfactory physical condition based on inspections. The proposed rule would also adjust necessary oversight protocols and assessments for small PHAs and make conforming changes for all PHAs. |
