Title: Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers Improvements | |
Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to revise its regulations that govern VA’s Program of Comprehensive Assistances for Family Caregivers (PCAFC), which provides certain medical, travel, training, and stipend benefits to designated family caregivers of certain veterans and servicemembers who were seriously injured in the line of duty on or after September 11, 2001. This rulemaking would update the regulations by making improvements to PCAFC in anticipation of VA’s implementation of section 161 of the recently enacted John S. McCain III, Daniel K. Akaka, and Samuel R. Johnson VA Maintaining Internal Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks Act of 2018 or the VA MISSION Act of 2018. |
