Title: Gas Appliance Carbon Monoxide Sensors | |
Abstract:
Staff has been conducting research and working with voluntary standards organizations to investigate sensing technology to automatically adjust or shut off major natural-gas appliances such as furnaces and boilers in response to abnormal operating levels of carbon monoxide in their combustion products. Staff will be investigating further and will develop a briefing package for the Commission for an Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in FY 2019. |
