Title: ●Right-of-Way Maintenance Regarding Power Lines and Wildfire Risk | |
Abstract:
This rule will comply with legislated requirements (codified at 43 U.S.C. 1772) introduced under the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2018 to address fire risk from and to powerline rights-of-way (ROWs) on public lands and national forests. The rule will codify the legislated agency requirements regarding review and approval of a utilities maintenance plans, liability limitations, and definitions of hazard trees and emergency conditions. |
