Title: Refuge-Specific Regulations; Public Use; Kenai National Wildlife Refuge 
Abstract:

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to initiate a rulemaking process for changes to Kenai National Wildlife Refuge public use regulations that were promulgated on May 5, 2016 (81 FR 27030). The purpose of this review is to ensure that these regulations are consistent with Secretarial Orders 3347 (Conservation Stewardship and Outdoor Recreation) and 3356 (Hunting, Fishing, Recreational Shooting and Wildlife Conservation Opportunities and Coordination with States, Tribes and Territories). The Secretary provided direction to increase access to public lands and provide additional recreational opportunities as appropriate.
