Title: ●Financial Assistance; Wildlife Restoration, Sport Fish Restoration, Hunter Education and Safety | |
Abstract:
The Target Practice and Marksmanship Training Support Act (Pub. L. 116-17) was passed into law on May 10, 2019. We will amend our regulations to align with changes created by the Act to the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act. This includes a 90 percent Federal, 10 percent non-Federal cost share and 5-year availability for projects to acquire land for, expand, or construct public target ranges. This may be accomplished under either the Basic or Enhanced Hunter Education Program, or State fish and wildlife agencies may allocate up to 10 percent of their Wildlife Restoration funds for these purposes. |
