Title: Test Procedure for Room Air Conditioners  
Abstract:

Consistent with the requirements of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is initiating an effort to determine whether amendments to the room air conditioner test procedure are warranted. As a result of this proceeding, DOE may propose and amend the test procedures for this product or issue a determination that no amendments to the current test procedures are required.
