Title: ●Energy Conservation Standards for General Service Incandescent Lamps; Determination | |
Abstract:
The Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA) , as amended, directs the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to initiate a rulemaking for general service lamps (GSLs) that, among other requirements, requires DOE to determine whether standards in effect for general service incandescent lamps (GSILs, a subset of GSLs) should be amended. In this notice of proposed determination, DOE has initially determined that energy conservation standards for GSILs do not need to be amended because more stringent standards for GSILs are not economically justified. |
